Matthew White

Matthew has 15 years management experience servicing private and public sector organizations from the Americas, Caribbean and North Africa such as Alcan (Lindmine) of Guyana, Ericsson Communications Canada, and Gerdau Steel (Courtice) of Canada. Matthew’s services included management development, process improvement, and stakeholder (customer, environment, society, shareholder) satisfaction.

Matthew began his career in capital markets 8 years ago Trinity Wood Capital where he held senior management positions and he led the development and distribution of institutional and retail investment products. In addition to building White Capital into niche player in financial services, Matthew has also provided corporate finance advice (structural, marketing and compliance) to a number of issuers and investment product manufacturers.

As a member of the Canadian working group for ISO 26000 and proponent on Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility. Matthew contributes to the development and implementation of global standards for sustainable development and responsible investing.

Mr. White is an advocate of exempt market participants’ interests with legislators and regulators.

Matthew graduated from the University of Toronto in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree (History) and holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Ryerson University.

Matthew completed his Canadian Securities Course in August 2009.
